New Thanks and Favorites Views in Member Profile

by News Pop 30. April 2012 18:57

We had mentioned that the last piece to add in our current Member Engagement efforts in Thanks, Friends, Favorites, Shares and Bookmarking was a way for members to view their activity.  The New Thanks and Favorites Profile Lists, in addition to the updated Friends List, does just that.

Here’s the new Favorites View where you can see the content throughout the community you tagged as favorites and the content you created which other members tagged as favorites.

The new Thanks View is very similar in displaying the content and people you thanked as well as the content you created which prompted other members to thank you.

The Member Dashboard (YetAnotherForum.NET Profile Menu) has been updated to reflect membership in the Community, with a new “Community” section added to the Dashboard menu, and the original “Personal Profile” area renamed to “Account and Settings” along with some other tweaks.  Links to the new “Thanks” and “Favorites” pages are located in the Community area.

The Thanks and Favorites View pages are streamlined to provide a quick snapshot of activity.  If you want to remove a Thanks or a Favorites, you can click on the content title link where you can remove the action.  As in the following example, clicking on the Wiki Page’s “A Favorite!” link will remove the Wiki Page as a Favorite.

Next up!  Time to put all of this great Member Engagement data to work in new Analytics Features for Sueetie v4.1!
