We’re taking care of some loose ends before heading down the v4.0 Pre-Release stretch, making sure all of the items on the Roadmap’s Sueetie v4.0 To-Do Specifics List are complete. One of the few remaining items was a review of Blog and Sueetie Data Core integration. Specifically, we needed to make sure that any updates or deletions to blog posts were reflected in Sueetie Data Core for searching, on the activity logs, and so forth.
Check!
For v4.0, deleted blog posts will be removed from Sueetie Global Search and any other site functions. The task was made more complicated because we had to make sure that the Aggregated Blog List data was updated to display the most current post (and not throw a Null Object Exception) if that post happened to be deleted.

Speaking of Aggregated Blog and Blog Post Lists, we also made sure that only blog posts from site blogs designated as Included In Aggregate List Display were being shown on the All Blogs - Recent Posts list.
Another request for Version 4.0 was to provide a “Hide Blog” type of function so that Site Admins could have the option of preventing a blog’s posts from appearing on the Site Activity List. That is now available as you see in the Blog Edit Admin Page below.

Another step closer to 4.0.
